History

Epic Social Adventures was created by Adam Nutting and Scott Gauvin. The ideas and concepts were a byproduct of an adventure called Hell Hike and Raft in the summer of 2014. Adam had been contacted by a outfitter America’s Rafting Company who was looking for help in promoting their trips. 12 bloggers had been selected and signed up for a 6 day backpacking and white water rafting trip in Idaho. The adventure known as Hell Hike and Raft was born. After months of planning, preparation, logistics, and communication the trip simply stated was amazing. Because of its success Adam and Scott with the blessing of America’s Rafting Company as ESA’s first official outfitter began working on the next stages. What you see on this site is a fast growing community of bloggers, social media influencers, and companies who all have a great love for the outdoors.

The Mission

To create epic adventures for social influencers and bloggers who are interested in testing out gear in real life situations and having a blast while doing it. All while providing quality real situation feedback to companies about their products.

Adam currently runs Hiking The Trail a blog dedicated to hiking, backpacking, and other outdoor related topics.
